Every Relationship Has a Story. Every Story Has a Secret.

Kelly Sullivan

Kelly Sullivan has built a life on love, trust and family. But when the foundations of her marriage begin to crack, she must decide whether some promises are worth fighting for and whether every truth deserves to be uncovered. Sometimes the greatest courage lies in refusing to give up.

Craig Sullivan

Craig Sullivan believes in loyalty, hard work and doing the right thing. But when temptation, family conflict and long-buried truths collide, he discovers that even the strongest principles can be tested. The choices he makes will shape far more than his own future.

Estelle Graham

Estelle Graham knows that appearances can be deceiving. Calm, intelligent and quietly guarded, she carries secrets that few would ever suspect. As the lines between love, loyalty and regret begin to blur, she discovers that every choice has consequences and some hearts are never truly free.

The Perfect Match

Sometimes the perfect match is the most dangerous one of all.

Craig Sullivan has built a good life with his wife, Kelly. It isn't perfect, but it's real. Then an unexpected attraction draws him towards Estelle Graham, a woman whose quiet confidence hides secrets of her own.

As loyalties begin to fracture and old wounds reopen, Craig finds himself caught between duty, desire, and the consequences of choices that cannot be undone. Meanwhile, his brother Simon is drawn into events that threaten to expose truths the family would rather leave buried.

Love, betrayal and deception collide in a psychological drama where every relationship is tested, every secret carries a price, and the search for happiness may destroy everything that matters.

Sometimes finding the perfect match means losing everything else.

Reviews

This book was hard to put down, as the tension builds from the beginning of the story. It is written so that the reader senses something is off, but what or how is yet to be discovered.

The tension builds step by step: a wife becomes increasingly sick; then the mistress becomes ill as well.

Simon, Craig’s brother, keeps applying pressure to make Craig come to a life or death decision.

The sense of ‘something being wrong’ increases for Craig AND the reader! In fact, it is only at the end that the truth comes out, providing a great surprise ending!

A man has two women in his life, his wife and his mistress. Both need him to keep them alive. Only he has the means to save one of them. He can't decide which one but hasn't got much time.

Both women believe he'll choose her, both tell him he needs to be able to live with his choice. Mr Kane's clever use of "Her" rather than names, and secret text messages to and from his brother complicate the situation.

I think that how the reader interprets the denouement rather depends on one's views of life.

This is a brilliantly written book.
