Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Fiction Bookstore, we want you to be happy with every book you buy.

Our books are supplied as digital ePub files. Because a digital book cannot physically be returned once it has been downloaded, different rules apply from those covering printed books.

Bought the Wrong Book?

Mistakes happen.

Perhaps you clicked on the wrong title, bought a book you already own, or simply realised immediately afterwards that you meant to buy something else.

If that happens, contact Reader Support and tell us what went wrong. We'll do our best to sort it out for you, which may include exchanging the book for the title you intended to purchase or providing a refund where appropriate.

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after your purchase.

Problems with Your ePub

If your ePub file is faulty, corrupted, incomplete or otherwise doesn't work as it should, please contact Reader Support.

We'll first try to put things right by providing a working replacement file or helping you get the book onto your device.

If we can't resolve the problem, we'll provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Changed Your Mind?

Digital books are downloadable products. Where you have expressly agreed to receive your ePub immediately and acknowledged that your cancellation right will be lost once the download begins, you will normally lose your 14-day right to cancel when downloading starts.

This does not affect your statutory rights if the digital content is faulty, not as described or otherwise does not conform to your purchase.
